THE KNOWING

As he sat in the control room he thought; why have I lost her, this seems to happen every time.  His search for the unusual and exotic just makes her mad.  But his work gives him so much time, to make it do what it do.  He was the 1st in his class given the chance to work for S.A.L aka the SEARCH for ALIEN LIFE.  His long nights of searching for things not believed in but often seen. 

As I sat in the control room my headphones began to buzz and then I hear a voice saying "We are here"!  He dropped them and ran to his bosses.  Their collective faces turned pale.  They all ran to the control room.  They're out there Dale, they're out there Dale.  The voices continued over and over again saying "We are here"!  The jaw hitting the floor made a resounding thump!  Then it happened:  the LCD TV's turned on.  Dale and his associates were shocked!  They were green beings, like the myths he had heard as a child. The eyes glowed bright red.  Everyman in the room gasped.  Then Doc. Phillip Thomas fell to the ground dead.  He had a heart attack because he had never believed they were out there.  As we continued our CPR on the Doc, we heard singing and the song was "Jesus is on the mainline, tell him what you want!  Jesus is on the mainline, tell him what you want!"  Oh God, that was Phil's favorite song!! 
As he walked back to the LCD screens his blood ran cold, he is amongst the knowing now.
