Unlike the story of Cinderella, when the clock strikes midnight this July 1st, the glass slipper won't be lost or turn into lead, it will only turn to gold! LeBron James or the once and future king, will sit (some say on a throne!!) in his drawing room as the suitors come, doing a 2-step everyday, 2 by 2. These will be men, or women carrying briefcases full of cash and promises.

Everyday they will come for the next two weeks trying to convince the King to come over to their side and "Oh by the way, we have a briefcase or two for your knights, Wade and Brosh"! Grown men will weep and fall to their knee's as their eyes go crazy with power and lust. "I can bring you the world. I can make all your dreams come true! I am I said, the only one who can bring you the NBA trophy! We have a plan! We have a plan! Believe in us, we LOVE you!"

Yes Lebron James, as of midnight is free at last to play for any team in the NBA, and heavy on his heart and his mind will rest his decision. "Should I stay or should I go"? The last of the men in seersucker suits heads for the door, soaking wet echoing the refrain "I hope to hear from you soon champ!" The king just nods.

Akron; his valet, shoves the fool outside as he closes the door behind him and states, "That is the last of them sir". "Thank you Akron", Lebron replies. The great old man ascends the staircase, and says goodnight! The king is alone now, sitting on his throne. He sighs "so this is what freedom feels like"?!
