THE CRUSHING BLOW

The challenge of japan is another reminder, that altering nature is not a good thing. Fuel emissions, the dumping of waste into our seas, is seen by some as the cost of doing business. But that business is DEATH!!!!  As the toll of lives lost continues to rise upward can we say it was worth it. The ozone has more holes now then a slice of Swiss cheese, the men of science scream, STOP! But we are deaf , dumb ,and blind. As I write this, blocks of frozen Ice float across the sea, millions of years old separated from giants in ANTARTICA. Some will say it has nothing to do with global warming. Mans Impact can no longer be denied, as he forgets he is the steward of this blue-green marvel. Sometimes nature is not that kind, so as we rotate, spinning around the Sun, the hope for common sense is fleeting. Our world depends on us to do the right thing. Now the evidence seems to prove to some we have no choice, that the folly of men has proven that science is the only truth of what our world is truly going through.

As  many people lay under concrete and steel, their bodies crushed and broken, and homes have been reduced to ruble, rescue workers are desperately trying to find those who may still be alive. Food and water shortages abound, leading to desperate acts, but still the Red Cross and other great organizations continue to help. We at the Croquille Master remember a quote from a long, long time ago from Wm. Shakespeare, "The fault, dear Brutus, lies not in our stars, but in ourselves if we are underlings".
