February 11th and the significant events this day has given us.

1971 - Eighty-seven countries, including US, UK, and USSR, sign the Seabed Treaty outlawing nuclear weapons in international waters.

1973 - Vietnam War: First release of American prisoners of war from Vietnam takes place.

1978 - Censorship:  the People's Republic of China lifts a ban on works by Aristotle, Shakespeare and Dickens.

1990 - Nelson Mandela, a political prisoner for 27 years, is released from Victor Verster Prison outside Cape Town, South Africa.

2011 - MUBARAK is the latest in a long line of dictators to realize the magic of that now famous day, FEBRUARY 11th.  On this day, the GODS  themselves use their powers with people, yearning to be free!   Voices long denied by injurious and evil laws now shout with one heart ....................

      As I watch the world turn into dust I cry damn!  Their lust for power unrestrained.  The whips come down as the cries of the hopelessness fill the air.  All the while, deep embers of hope burn eternal. Whips cracking the air on strong, dark flesh relentlessly.  My eyes fill with tears, the light fades slowly as worn down bodies succumb to their fate.  Death, your smell fills the room.  Dancing like impatient whores on glass, they wait for our arrival!  

     With the last remnants of strength I can invoke, I give the ancient, rusted chain one last tug.  Finally, the taste of FREEDOM courses through me! Overwhelmed yet renewed with a passion and vengeance that is searing every cell within  my being, I use the very weapon of oppression that held me back, I curse the skulls of my tormentors. One by one they now cease to exist! Their life spilling onto the ground beneath me.  Lighter and lighter my blood soaked chain grows as I spin it like a ferocious blade into the forest of my tormentors.  Overcome by the grace and power of all that is good, I kneel at rivers edge before the blue heavens, head and hands raised in thanks, humbled by the blessing of freedom once more.
