As I watch the world turn into dust I cry damn! Their lust for power unrestrained. The whips come down as the cries of the hopelessness fill the air. All the while, deep embers of hope burn eternal. Whips cracking the air on strong, dark flesh relentlessly. My eyes fill with tears, the light fades slowly as worn down bodies succumb to their fate. Death, your smell fills the room. Dancing like impatient whores on glass, they wait for our arrival!
With the last remnants of strength I can invoke, I give the ancient, rusted chain one last tug. Finally, the taste of FREEDOM courses through me! Overwhelmed yet renewed with a passion and vengeance that is searing every cell within my being, I use the very weapon of oppression that held me back, I curse the skulls of my tormentors. One by one they now cease to exist! Their life spilling onto the ground beneath me. Lighter and lighter my blood soaked chain grows as I spin it like a ferocious blade into the forest of my tormentors. Overcome by the grace and power of all that is good, I kneel at rivers edge before the blue heavens, head and hands raised in thanks, humbled by the blessing of freedom once more.
